First, a word of caution. Marvel Cave is NOT handicap accessible. Also, there are two significant issues you must be aware of before you enter. 1) There are some tight spots and there is a display of the tightest spot you can test yourself with...More

Okay before I ended up in a wheel chair, this was one of my favorite caves. It is worth the entry to Silver Dollar City. Stop by the bakery on your way out.

Quite an interesting tour hourly just inside Silver Dollar City. It actually is what started the theme park. Tours depart about every hour with groups of no more than 60. You simply queue up at the entrance just inside the gift shop once you enter...More

Every time my family goes to Silver Dollar City we always go through the cave. The hardest part for my kids are the stairs going down to the cave. Every person in our group enjoys the tour each time we go.

I'm sorry, but I don't know. They have a Lantern Light Tour that can start as early as 4:30pm (depending on when the park close, sometimes it's 5:30), so they might stop the regular tours before that particular one starts... More

You can actually get into the cave for free. The cave is not owned by SDC. It is owned by Lake of the Ozarks college. You can do some paperwork and get in for free only the cave not the theme park.
