Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The last climb is with blue trail and it is a bit steep anyway. But the views are worthy it.
In the season there is a ticket to buy to go up on the platform.

Whichever route you choose, you can't avoid the steep final approach. There is then a cash desk and a metal walkway and steps for the queue to the small viewing area, time for a couple of quick photos and down again. We set off at 6am and reached the summit at 8. It was wonderfully quiet (although not empty) and we had time to appreciate the views. When we got back to the cash desk, a woman was just opening up and a steady stream of hikers were arriving. Get up early to really enjoy this attraction

We came here during our tour of Slovakia.
The 3 crowns looks great from the river, and we decided to go up after our rafting tour.

So, the path up and down was in the forest and not really beautiful, we found many other amazing paths with amazing views nearby and this one is certainly not among the beautiful ones.

But the biggest disappointment was when we arrived at the destination.

The entrance to the viewpoint is not free. And we had to stay in the queue for 1h and 20 minutes. Which is bad enough itself and even worse because of the Covid.

So, my opinion is that it is certainly not worth coming and I recommend to choose other trails.

During holidays it is a very long queue to reach the hill, so it is rather like the communist times, not like on the trail in the open air :( The view from the hill is very nice but the queue is a huge minus.
if you want to see three crowns in all their glory, I recommend a view from the museum in the Red Cloister.

LOvely place, but remember to check the weather forecast at interia.pl and do not forget to take a waterproof poncho with you. Comfortable shoes are a good idea, it's mountains and the path can be slippery. Cheap tickets (6 zl pp) at the summit.

We decided to start our hike from Trzy corony mountain hut. In December hiking is free, but in season you should pay for the hiking. To summit we follow the green, later the blue path. Going down we follow yellow path. After the summit we did some 15 min detour to the zamek ruins, but it's not worth it. Also, in winter zamek is closed. That day weather was bad and cloudy so no panorama view from the top. The hike was not very easy, but maybe it was just a bad day.

That is not an extreme hike from Szczawnica or Kroscienko. You have to pay the 4 zl [ca 1 euro] to enter the observation deck, but the view from there is sensational

An easy walking tour of the exceptionally beautiful Polish Mountains. Be sure to visit the Three Crowns on the day when you will be rafting down the Dunajec river. It will be one of the finest days spent in the Polish Pieniny Mountains, exceptional beautiful nature and great views.

This is the highest summit in Pieniny National Park but not in the Pieniny Mountanis as some say. Accessible only by long walk either from Krościenko (longer, not that steep, 2-3 hours one way) or from Sromowce (shorter, very steep, 1,5-2 hours one way). Last part of the walk is by ticket only - national park collects money to keep metal steps leading to the top viewing platform in good condition. Long queues in peak season, sometimes even up to two hours. Fantastic views over Poland/Slovakia border with Dunajec river meanders and Tatra Mountains in the background. For good walkers only. Dangerous in storms with lightninghs.
