Very nice grounds. We went here to see where James Meredith came as a 29 year old man of color, the first black man to enter Ole Miss in the 1960's. Found the statue and information and it was worth the visit.

We took a family member to Ole Miss for college viewing and we were VERY impressed with the beauty of the campus and the old South charm of downtown Oxford. It took a couple of trips to actually locate Oxford,it is not as clearly marked on Interstates as we had thought, but the end was worth the search.

Just walking the campus was a blast for us. Beautiful buildings, especially national CE and helpful people and great college environment. Visited because my 13 year old daughter is already looking at schools !!!!

We had just visited the National Museum of Civil Rights in Memphis the day before our visit to the University of Mississippi. It was compelling to see the statue of Meridith after learning about his important role in desegregating the University.

Spring and fall in Oxford are reason enough to drive through campus and see why it's always on the most beautiful college campus lists every year!

Ole Miss missed the boat when it comes to hospitality and parking at their beautiful baseball complex. Being experienced college baseball fans, we arrived 1 hour early at Swazey field. NO baseball parking. This was an 11 A.M. Weekday game. Officials working traffic were completely unhelpful. When asked for suggestions regarding parking the response was: "you're on your own...good luck."... More

We had a great time at the Ole Miss baseball game over Spring Break; family friendly and even a fireworks show. The Ole Miss Museum is free and worth the stop: Greek artifacts mainly, local painter and costumed fleas!

Graduating almost 55 years ago, my wife and I still have a strong connection with the University. Three times as large today as it was then, the campus is still one of the most beautiful in the country, and the school's academic credentials are even better. We always enjoy our return visits (lately almost annually) when the friendliness reminds us... More

I was dissappointed that, because of construction and lack of parking I was only able to drive around, but it is a beautiful campus and worth the drive.

This contiguous campus has it all! Beautiful buildings, lush grounds in the rolling hills of Oxford. We drove through but stopped to visit some of the sights there ad had no trouble navigating. The fraternity/sorority houses are lovely and we had to pay a visit to the Grove and to the James Meredith statue. We loved our visit there.
