You can purchases replicas of some of the items on display in WAMA here. A selection of plates, bowls, cups and local art are offered. Small building, off the road.

For lovers of art pottery, Shearwater remains at the top. Signs throughout this quaint town will lead you far off the beaten path, to a place where Anderson family members continue their soul-stirring tradition. The display room alone is worth the visit. This exquisite pottery presents visual emotions, perhaps intangible, yet quite real. After every trip, I take home another... More

New Mexico has Georgia O'keefe's legacy; Mississippi has the legacy of the Anderson Brothers. Since 1928, Shearwater has been creating some of the most beautiful pottery in the country. The peaceful setting is near the water and feels like a simpler time. The staff is friendly and helpful. Shearwater is one of the best places to purchase a souvenir from... More

Shearwater Pottery is definitely off the beaten path. Tucked away off a little side street lined with beautiful old trees, you enter a different world of art that is intended to have everyday use. The pottery is beautiful and dishwasher safe. The staff is very friendly and if you are lucky you'll run into relatives of the Anderson brothers that... More

Nice little cabin in a coastal setting, with helpful friendly staff who let you browse without pressure. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Very interesting to see the Anderson family "compound" now run by Anderson descendants. Nice pottery for sale but $$$! Tried to buy a piece but they were not willing to ship it for me (it was a wood sculpture, not a pot).

This place is a feast for the eyes. It has beautiful artwork to view and to buy. The woman in charge was knowledgeable and friendly, a pleasure totally to. It's off a gravel road with a "Slow Turtle Crossing" sign.

It's worth stopping here to view and shop for unusual, well priced local and attractive pottery. It is just down the road from the WalterAnderson Museum.

The influence of Walter Anderson is seen in the beautiful pottery. They also have many original pieces on display that are marvelous! Definitely stop in here while in Ocean Springs!
