It's a carousel. You get on and it goes around, surprisingly fast. There are seats as well as animals, so people with babies can ride. There's also a tiny snack bar.

This is a Meridian attraction. Old restored carousel, kept in great condition and they open it for rides. It is a must see if you live or visit the area. Unique, inexpensive attraction. Open certain times for rides. Look around town for local businesses that...More

The Carousel was a nice treat. The ladies at the building opened at 1 PM. They had chips, candy, pickles, and snow cones at really great prices. 50 cents per person and we were off for a spin from the past. The music box is...More

We drove out of our way to try to find the carousel but we only found signs of the park and no carousel I'm sure it was over there somewhere but there wasn't much direction to it or advertising for it

Yes it is nice to see a completed carousel........it does look nice......but the building that houses the carousel needs some work also. Not being able to ride the carousel due to mechanical failure......we were allow to walk around and see the horses.

Disappointed it was closed. The park appears to be a good place for families with playgrounds, ball parks and plenty of places to let the kids run around and play.

Enjoyed a $.50 ride on this historic carousel. Nick, the young man operating it, convinced us to ride and provided details about some of carved animals. It must have been beautiful in its heyday, however now seems neglected and is located in an unsafe neighborhood.

I love taking my children to the carousel it is unfortunate that this area isn't safe anymore. However when we went during midday it was no problem. I am angry that this area is not patrolled as much as it should be. This is truly...More

I've never heard of a wedding there but I do know they book birthday parties there. So, it's possible. Give them a call tomorrow and ask. 601-485-1802

During the school year I think it's only open on the weekends. And then only during daytime hours.
