Stopped here on our way south. Beautiful, peaceful park. We were offered and took a pull-through site which are very narrow. Wish we had taken a site on the lake. It was off season so not crowded.

This park is well cared for and a great place to bring your pop up or travel trailers or rent a cabin for around $70 a night. You can park by the lake or in a more wooded area. They also have primitive camping sites.

It slipped my mind that we'd have to pay the park admission fee upon entering, so they got some extra $ from us (no smaller bills and we checked out before the gates opened), but that was my fault and will remember for next time....More

Yes, dogs are allowed in the park - they must be on leash !! I am not sure if the dogs are allowed in the swimming area.
