It is a well kept tourist attraction with period furniture pieces throughout the house. Upstairs has the life of Tennessee Williams written as scenes or acts in a play. Very fascinating. Would recommend for tourists passing through to view.

This old house has obviously had extensive, but careful, restoration and it shows. The volunteers one encounters are well versed in the local scene. It's free and qualifies as a good first stop for all visitors.

The people that guided the tour were friendly and informative. You will enjoy the exhibit on the second floor and the home in general. Columbus is an interesting town and worthy of drive to see it.

Staying for Columbus for one night we visited this house during a tour of the town. The welcome was gracious, the old, beautifully renovated house interesting because of its era and the history of the previous tenants. A small donation is suggested.
