We invite you to enjoy all that makes our museum unique: the artists, the architecture, the history, and the landscape. The Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art celebrates the innovative, independent and creative spirit of our namesake Mississippi master potter George Ohr. In a fitting tribute to Ohr, artist and architect Frank Gehry designed an award winning campus of bold intriguing self sufficient structures. The campus consists of our Mississippi Sound Welcome Center, three art galleries, the reconstructed home of Pleasant Reed, and our City of Biloxi Center for Ceramics. These buildings and the exhibits therein offer visitors separate but not isolated experiences - together creating a single unified vision connected by the expansive brick plaza and the majestic Live Oaks.

Over half the 'pods' were not in use. Visitors center closed and relocated into tiny, cramped and crowded Pleasant Read duplicate. Really wish there was more written material on Ohr pottery exhibit. Video was difficult to hear, accents challenging, no place to sit and watch long video, which was ONLY explanation of pottery by George Ohr. No background on O'Keefe... More

The main building had a fire, so fewer exhibits. But Ohr's pottery is amazing! Well worth a visit. I'll be back. The current changing exhibition is about baseball with connections to the Gulf Coast.

I came primarily to see the Ghery-designed campus and it was so much better than I could have imagined!! Then I went inside and ended up spending another couple of hours checking out Ohr's pottery and the special exhibitions. A real treat. Loved the pottery workshop and being able to talk to the artisans who were working there. The Katrina... More

We came to see the George Ohr pottery, but also saw the Baseball exhibit and it was fantastic! Don't miss this!

...was welcome on a hot summer day. I'm not really into pottery, per se, have no idea who the "O'Keefe" in the name is, and came with low expectations. But came to see what the deal is. Not bad.Beautiful campus (the museum was a collection of buildings, not one big one), with fine views. I thought that the George Ohr... More

Enjoyed the history of the "mad potter" and his artistry. Mississippi sports heroes were of interest as well. Did not know so many stars were Mississippi born.

This fascinating museum features the work of the self-proclaimed "Mad Potter of Biloxi"--- George E. Ohr --- with sections of the museum designed by the great architect Frank Gehry. It has a particularly good museum shop filled with treasures.

My daughter loved art camp! She made the coolest pottery. A piece will stay there on campus as a totem pole! She used the wheel..so cool!

I was terribly disappointed, especially after going to a world class museum like Walter Anderson. There is NOTHING to see here really. The only thing of real interest is the Katrina exhibit. There is a gift shop a cafe and the rest is not worth the ten dollar admission. I even complained to the Chamber of Commerce.....
