Lulllymore - an amazing family outing.
An excellent family outing with so many fun things to see and do. The boardwalk provides an easy stroll around the bog. The play areas for children are plentiful, our son especially liked the Funky Forest. Nice space for the adults to relax and enjoy a meal or coffee. Informative displays showing the history and importance of the bog for the area. Well worth the visit. (Sydney, Australia)

Excellent value for a family day out
We visited as a family of six two weeks ago and I must say that we were very impressed. We found the family ticket great value for the standard of facilities and variety of activities. Everything was included in the admission price, there were no additional extras. The kids loved the road train, the playground and the mini golf. The little pet farm was lovely and the indoor play area was a big hit! After having our packed lunch in the outdoor covered picnic area we enjoyed a lovey stroll down through the garden and fairy space and then along the bog board walk taking in lots of information about the surroundings. We walked back through the forest while taking in some history. We ended up spending much longer here than we anticipated as there was so much to do and enjoy. Also, the uachtar reoite was delicious!

    Lullymore a great day out
Kids had a brilliant time on the train, in the houses, in the playground and with the animals. The kids and ourselves learned such a lot about history. We went for a short walk around the bog and ate some lovely blackberries. The fairy village was a big hit with the younger two. The older boys had great fun playing golf. We had lovely chicken and chips in the cafe along with Coke and Fanta. Everyone had a really great day.

Wonderful mix of activities for all ages
My 2 almost 9 year olds boys and I had a wonderful visit at Lullymore. We were there for 3.5 hours and actually could have spent another hour (tickets say the visit is 3 hours but no one actually mentioned that when we visited). It was a great mixture of fun activities, history and nature. And I must mention the cafe; the chips were terrific and one of the best cappuccinos I've had in Ireland. We travelled an hour to get there and I thought it was really worthwhile and great value. The only thing I think could have made the visit even better is some commentary during the train ride.

    Highly recommended
Whilst I haven't actually visited in over 20 years. I thought I best write a review anyway. It's highly unlikely the standards back then would have dropped but only improved. So how can anyone give 1 star? It's well worth the visit and value for money for kids and adults.

I booked the Halloween experience for my family of four. I made a mistake with the dates in the tickets and the guys at Lullymore were just so accommodating!! They let me move the booking and saved the day. The experience was really good....we got a proper scare. This is our second visit to Lullymore and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There's something for everyone there.

This was an excellent place to visit. Stephen, our guide, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the work being done to help restore the area’s plant and wildlife. We learned the importance of peat to Ireland over its history and even got to participate in a demonstration dig. I highly recommend it!

Excellent tour of Lullymore, with a visit to the bog and a chance to try your 'foot' at cutting the turf! All the adults on our tour turned in kids as we went on our train ride. Weather was great and our Guide Ray was brilliant!
So informative, knowledgeable and passionate about this Park, you could catch his enthusiasm. Lovely lunch as well, all sorted in a separate room for the group of 31 of us. The ice-cream cones were very creamy too! thanks to all the ladies who served - very efficient. It was a lovely nostalgia trip and the Heritage park is extremely well laid out, with 3D films which brought the years old dwellers to life.
Really brilliant and highly recommended. Many thanks for a superb day. Stay Safe!
