We get it all here!! Great fishing, water sports, resorts with tons of family fun, a huge lake with tons of things to see, a great small town (Walker) to visit which has a phenomenal farmers market on Thursday's.

The town is small but clean and the people are very accommodating. There is a limited amount of services and restaurants.

Huge lake with many different opportunities for recreation. Rentals available for a variety of boats, jet skis, etc.

There is a very nice beach at the City Park just south of downtown.

Walker has a little beach near the small lighthouse/ boat ramp in the bay near DQ and Hardee's. Some resorts have a sandy beach, but you'll need to call and ask- I can't remember!! Big Rock Resort has a heated swimming... More

The mosquitoes are not any heavier than usual. A good bug spray or skin so soft Off works great.
