This is a nice park near Waite Park and St Cloud where one can go to have a sense of being out in the woods while still being close to civilization (but don't expect great cell phone signals! ;-) ) It is a lovely place...More

We have enjoyed hiking here and cross country skiing. The trails are well-maintained and wide. Nice oak woods with cool quarry ponds. The ponds are stocked with rainbow trout. There is a small rock climbing area, too.

This is a place you definitely need to check out. If you plan on going more than 4 times, buy a season parking pass, as it will cost you $5 to park per visit. Very family and kid friendly, no alcohol or smoking allowed (although...More
