Every city has their "thing" and the loon in Vergas is no exception. Nestled by the lake in a nice park and beach area.

Nice, small lakeside park to take a break and relax. You have to look for it or you may miss it, but worth a stop.

I don't think I would go way out of my way to see this giant loon, but when in the area it is a great place to stop. The kids love to pose by the loon for pictures. The park is a great place to let them play and there is a beach to swim and/or fish. So, if in... More

First, I always laugh at the World's Largest Loon standing on the shore of Long Lake when just down the road is Loon Lake. But this is a must stop if you have kids or just want to get out in a park-like setting and relax. Just a few seconds out of town on Hwy 4 this is a great... More

Whooo doesn't like a big looon? Kids will enjoy the lakeside park, and photo opportunities. Enjoy the bike trail from Vergus town center to here.

It is a nice park area, but nothing else to do there. It is on the lake, so it might be nice to picnic there with kids.
