Loved this place. My inclination is often to rent a private cabin where I can avoid people and curl up with a book. I'm so grateful we tried this place because we met some very cool people in our short visit. The place was super...More

The Two Harbors Lighthouse is really scenic. The grounds are carefully tended and the gift shop is a little rough but quaint. The downside is they charge a fee to enter the grounds and the chain link fence sends that point home. You can walk...More

Hidden treasure! We had always just driven through and not stopped on our way "up North". Well worth a stop. We hit it in late afternoon and the sunset on the water was absolutely gorgeous.

The lighthouse is a B&B so we could not visit but there was a little shop. The area about was nice to walk in the sun, with views of the large harbour and trains.

We recently stayed at Grand Superior Lodge and went to the Split Rock Lighthouse. I think it was pretty fascinating, as they had women in traditional garb cooking dinner. Of course there was the light house. You can't go unless you can climb a lot...More

Two harbors has 3 things to see: 1) View the lighthouse from afar since can't tour it as it's a B & B. They have a gift shop. 2) You can see the iron ore docks which are very impressive - I hadn't seen anything...More

Not just a lighthouse, but fantastic views of the iron ore docks. Lake Superior in its working mode, the power of a lake to move ore to the world for manufacturing. So much history and culture of the mining and shipping aspects of the region.

This is a pretty light house. You can walk up to the lighthouse for the view. It is also a bed and breakfast so you can't go through the rooms. It doesn't take long to explore so I recommend taking some time out. There is...More

The light house is only open for day time tours. We did Not stay at the B&B as we were going further south that day. You can google the Two Harbor B&B to find out the information you need.
