Love this Place - When my in-laws asked where I wanted to go for my birthday lunch - this place was it! One of the best Lobster Rolls I have had anywhere and today was no exception! YUM - Service was great and was offered a free beer for my birthday. They have a new Hot Lobster Sandwich - the... More

Known for their Paddy Shack Burgers and a little bocce ball fun in the basement, this place was getting all kinds of hype for those burgers of theirs (the two they have on the menu). In 2015, they even added the title of top dog at the T.C. Burger Battle which kinda baffles me. Okay, so I'll have plenty of... More

It has been a few years since I have been here, they didn't have a kitchen last time I was here...but I met a friend, enjoyed a few beers(PBR's are $2.50, Surly is $5) some poppers and Irish Poutine which was a bit like Poutine meets nacho's... interesting twist. And of course they have clay bocce courts in the basement.... More

Had been seeing great reviews for food for this place and had to find out for ourselves. The Rec didn't disappoint. The corn beef sandwich was amazing! Meat raffle, bocce ball and live music- there is no way to not have fun here. Service was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly. Can't wait to visit again!!!

I've been visiting the Rec for 20+ years. It's a cement block building on Front Street close to Como Park and if you didn't know better, you'd drive buy thinking it was some neighborhood dump. However, its a great little Irish bar that offering great Irish music most of the week. They have the best pour of Guinness for the... More
