A great place to view the animals and is very family friendly. Had so much fun and the conservatory was beautiful.

I used to live across the street from this fabulous zoo. PLEASE visit and PLEASE give a donation as you enter. Or go to any other zoo and pay the bigger fees. This is such a relaxed atmosphere and St Paul TREASURE that you must see! Did you know that there is a Japanese garden? It has many events. I... More

If you are in the midst of your deep cold and dark mid-winter doldrums and you need a place to revitalize - the conservatory is truly a breath of fresh tropical air. Be sure to bring your camera for photos of your loved ones and/or flowering vegetation. When you feel you are ready to hit the cold again, head outdoors... More

We took the grandkids and they really liked it. We asked them what they wanted to see and made a point of getting to those areas. Finished day with Comotown rides for smaller chidlren and then a ride on the historic carousel

Regardless of the season, you can count that the Como zoo and conservatory will fill your days with joy. In the wintertime is a breath of fresh air filled with colors and scents while there's only blank outside. In summertime, a good way to spend a day watching the animals. Don't forget to visit the Japanese garden. Not that many... More

The whole experience was super fun and it's amazing. It's great how it's free as well. I can easily bus over there with my little brother.

Unlike all other zoos and parks in the U.S., visitors can go to the park and zoo free of charge, including free parking. You can see lions, tigers, wolves, bison, giraffes, monkeys, fishes, and animal shows free! Like theme parks, you have to pay for rides, and the water park. For people who like flowers, you can see the Japanese... More

I've had the advantage of visiting the San Diego Zoo - and though it was a long time ago - they set my standards of how to house animals very high. I was once... More
