The QHNC in Rochester has recently undergone a remodel. There are many interactive exhibits to entertain curious children and adults. The trails are well maintained and there is much local wildlife to be seen. So much has changed since the original opening in 1973!

I love to cross country ski at Quarry Hill. Very peaceful environment. Great, well marked trails for skiing and snow shoeing in the winter and hiking and biking in the summer.

I found the area informative and well organized. A lot to see and do in good weather. The indoor exhibit (dinosaurs) was hands-on and really worth it for any age.

If you are looking to wind down and relax, this is the perfect spot in Rochester. Plenty of trails to walk and sights to see. Some times of the year you may want to bring some bug spray!
