Can't miss this free hike. Stairs and trails to access the summit are noted in difficulty. Advise bug spray for the early morning bugs. Fantastic vista. You can easily ascend and get back down in about an hour. Afraid of heights, this is a hard...More

This is a great hike in the area. Mixed terrain gives you level grade and a good up hill climb. It culminates in an awesome view of Red Wing and the Mississippi River eagles soaring, river boats churning past. I've met every age group while...More

Great family friendly hike, views spectacular and price was right as it was free. Pet friendly too, will do it again in the spring.

A great place to hike and view the City of Red Wing. There were some historical markers along the way. Not a huge place, but can get in a couple miles of hiking.

The hike is a little strenuous but it is so worth it. You can literally see for miles. Watch barges go up and down the river. You are so close to the eagles soaring over the river.

Hiking Barn bluff was fun and the views of the river and Redwing were nice. If you’re looking for a more “adventurous” outing, I would recommend the short drive to Frontenac Park. The trails there are prettier and range from easy to moderate.

A nice hike for a view of the valley. I'm used to climbing 13,000 foot peaks so I'm not the best judge. But worth the effort to get outside and the view is nice

Around 4 miles total if I remember correctly. Perfect for a day of light hiking with some slight uphill climbs.
