Although the park is undergoing some renovations, it was still a lovely setting for a picnic, beach fun, and fishing. We launched our boat, and parked in the boat launch parking lot. (There was plenty of room for many boaters.) We had first dropped off...More

The playground is one of the best in the metro area. Plenty of picnic tables and room for kids to run around. Bathrooms are well maintained. The winter cross country ski trails are amazing and rental of equipment is also available for newbies.

About halfway in to the lake. You can walk or take a trolley to the lake. There is also parking at the group sites. Cars with boats can park right at the beach near the boat launch.
