This is an AWESOME Cemetery, it's so BIG. Very interesting to see all the different tombstones. It's fun to drive around and see all the wildlife, they feel right at home. I actually have a father in law buried here, and it's nice to visit.

Too bad you have to die to spend an eternity here but the views are spectacular. A gorgeous park, hills trees, some VIPs buried here.

The location, near Lake Calhoun, is beautiful. The grounds are meticulously maintained. You can see the graves of Hubert Humphrey, Paul Wellstone, Pillsbury. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful architecture. The chapel building is on the national register of historic buildings. Really a stunning small building. The cemetery is also a wonderful place for a leisurely bike ride.

This is the most beautiful and well kept cemetery in the area. A wonderful and pleasant place for quiet reflection amid the history of The Twin Cities. Many monuments reflect famous citizens. Best to drive thru while stopping often. No bikes! The tulip display in...More

I would love to stroll around on my bicycle, because it's so large. It's a beautiful cemetery to visit. Surprisingly a lot to see. Right next to Lake Calhoun too, so very convenient for a side trip.

Just loved this place. GREAT memorial services in honor of military. Has lots of events that you can come with family to visit loved ones. Very quiet...can't hear the city noise once in park away from the hubbub of the buildings. Gorgeous architecture and history....More

I have been to a number of funerals there but this summer I went to a lamp lighting ceremony they held. It was father into the hills where the older plots are. I have been to SleepY Hallow in NCY and this is more beautiful....More
