Want a nice park to visit, this one is worth going to. There's a little food stand shop there to get some pretty tasty food. The walk is about a good one hour around the lake depending on your pace. The fishing isn't as good...More

Nokomis is one of the cutest lakes and has a really nice beach. During the season when the Sandcastle is open, they have good food at reasonable prices. Good for a walk in all seasons, from Fall colors and winter wonderland to summer time.

I love to paddle board on Nokomis! It's fun to make out to the middle, where you can see the skyline of Minneapolis, lie down on the board, and watch airplanes fly overhead. There are a couple of nice beaches for swimming, too.

We were in town visiting. We enjoyed a lovely walk that ended at Lake Nokomis. There was a beach, restrooms, plenty of space, plenty of parking, and food to purchase. We will be back!

People love to use the lake for swimming, sailboarding, canoeing, fishing. Two nice beach areas. Cute restaurant on site and two more within 1/2 block as your walking. Large parking lot, ball fields and open space.

Beautiful neighborhood close to Hiawatha. Pretty lake. Nice place to spend an afternoon in the sun. Good parking nearby. Easy to bike or walk to. Pleasant and peaceful. Great coffee shop nearby. Nokomis Beach Coffee Shop. Be sure to stop there as well.

There is a lot of hustle and bustle but you can make it your own. Great place for a picnic. Toss a blanket and people watch. If this review was helpful, please give me a thumbs up.

We go here often after kayaking for a beer or glass of wine. I love that they serve kombucha. I'm not thrilled with the food menu though. I would prefer some simple, healthy meals.

Spent Mother's Day lakeside with family in the middle of an enchanting natural environment breathing in the clean sweet scents of grass, trees, wildflowers. We relaxed. Our kids served up a top-drawer dinner--roasted chicken, fresh vegetables, salad. Drinks and desert too. We brought a portable...More
