The lock and dam has very little activity. There are lots of other things to see and do nearby but I wouldn't go out of my way to see this lock and dam.

It is kind of an industrial looking area, but they have tried hard to spruce their area up as much as possible.

This is a good place to see a lock & dam system. It's very interesting to watch the water level changed for boats to pass thru the lock & dam, especially a big boat.

We checked the area out and were glad we did. The river views and dam views are nice and the backdrop of the city in the other direction is nice. It was chilly but worth the walk, you would see it all in 30 mins...More

A good place to spend your evening by taking a long walk on the bridge and see the river water flow through the dam and see the bridges build over the river for vehicular movement. The night lighting is also good with a good view...More
