Very nice college hockey arena. Nice spirited crowd and not hostile to visiting fans. Whew! Only complaint is with parking and exiting. We waited an inordinately long time in our freezing cold car to exit the parking lot. The problem seems to be with the traffic lights. They are exceptionally long. Perhaps some thought to manually over riding them when... More

Great arena for watching division one hockey. As a former season ticket sharer, I regret that the U of M abandoned its long time rivalries in the WCHA, especially North Dakota and UMD, for the BIG TEN, but I guess money talks. Too bad. Let's hope the hockey team gets back to its former national status as a contender for... More

This is a good place to watch iced hockey in a collegiate setting with everything that entails from your standpoint.

We enjoyed a game here with our kids. We had great seats that were very close to the rink. Our kids absolutely loved the game and want to come back for more. The only problem with the great seats...is walking back up those steep stairs out of the bowl. LOL. We had a great time. The arena was heated and... More

Hockey is taken seriously in this state and going to watch a Minnesota Gopher game on campus is always fun. Multi-generational families, college kids, alumni, and fans all mix to make the atmosphere fun. Standard arena food offerings. Parking is always a pain on campus so be prepared to walk.

This is a great arena for hockey - nice history and the crowd is always into the game, especially the students at one end of the ice. Seating is generally good and it's one of those venues that doesn't really have a bad seat in the house. The Gophers are usually competitive and the games with in-state opponents are the... More

It is always fun to watch a Gopher game here and there are not many bad seats in the arena. If you are going to an event here, make sure you factor in finding parking, traffic, and walking to the arena, It will take you at least 30 minutes.

This is an amazing facility. The planning of the arena's seating, access, parking and just about everything is great. This is one of those attractions which is better explained through photos. Have attached many of those photos of this grand arena. We were here for the Graduation ceremony of Class of 2016. During such important events, the parking fee is... More

We have attended several events (hockey) here and have never been disappointed. The seats are not bad, lots of vendors, easy to see the ice, and good screens to watch.

This is the 4th year we have participated in the Maple Woods synchronized ice skating competition. This arena is a huge favorite among our three teams we bring to compete. Having a Domino's pizza on site is a huge hit! The seating is comfortable and the stadium is easy to get around in. The ladies rooms are huge and there... More
