This Park is a great Oasis in the metro area. The falls can be a bit disappointing in late summer if it has been a dry year. May and June are pretty good bets.

Very nice park with a picturesque waterfall. Trails along the lower creek will take you all the way to the Mississippi River in about half an hour. The park has acres of picnic area, and the Sea Salt Eatery located in one of the pavilions...More

Just at its own light rail stop between the airport and downtown is a pretty park with stream and waterfall. Added attraction is the Sea Salt restaurant in the park, offering picnic style eating with many seafood choices.

Hike down the creek and back up again on the other side. Lots to see, falls, beach, old stone bridges.

I was amazed to find a natural beauty spot in the middle of the metropolitan. The waterfall is stunning. The area had been conserved like a spot in the wilderness without any artificial or commercial development.

You can rent various forms of pedal power suitable for 1-4 people. We rented a 4 person vehicle which was difficult to get up hills so someone had to get out to push the vehicle. Even that ended up being fun. It is a... More
