Service very slow, Buts that's not the worst . myself and my friend had the same chicken fillet burgers . We hadn't eaten all day so stomachs were empty. After getting home 3 hors later the pair of us had stomach cramps and started to bomit and also diarrhoea. Only explanation, under cooked food .Health board needs to take a luck . AVOID AT ALL COST.

Visitor center is nice, but cashier short changed my teenaged son

Stopped here on the way to the Cliffs of Moher tour. Our bus stopped here for about 10/15 minutes to get a snack and go to the bathroom. The place was busy, but had enough stuff to buy. We are knocking a couple of stars off our rating because the cashier at the convenience store part (on the right as you enter) accidentally or intentionally short changed my son 10 Euros while giving change for a 50 Euro. No receipt was given and everybody was in general, in a rush to get through the lines, etc., on time. My wife noticed from a distance how the cashier looked at my son, who was 15 and wasn't paying much attention. Didn't learn about it until on the bus and on our way. ( Feel free to check your cameras for a young man working the cashier, April 1st around 9am.) Place was otherwise fine.

Not a bad place to make a quick stop

Average rest stop/gas station. Kind of odd that it’s Obama Themed, but if you know why, it makes sense. Overall not a bad place to make a pit stop

Breakfast stop

Ghastly food
Avoid this rip-off place… 08.30 am we thought a mini breakfast would be a nice break on a long journey. The Food served was inedible… cold undercooked & even on request for heating up, still vile. Coffee was “ plastic” . Not a pleasant place to stop for Refreshmenrs.

Most bizarre gas station ever!

Stopped for a bathroom break at a Circle K gas station in the middle of nowhere at this weird place! Very bizarre statue of the Obama’s out front near highway?!? At least the restrooms were clean and a large selection of food, drinks, and snacks. There is an interesting little museum upstairs featuring US Presidents of Irish descent, overall I still can’t figure out the why’s and where of this place!

Love Barack Obama Plaza. Great food, freshly cooked, very airy restaurant. Bathrooms were spotless, piped music was contemporary but not intrusive and the adjoining Spar stop is ideal if you need to buy a newspaper etc. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make this venue a compulsory stop on the Limerick Dublin Road.

Small Free Museum - Worth a Look

Free Museum upstairs in the Barack Obama Plaza food court. It details President Obama's visit to his sncestral home in Moneygall. There is a cool bust of Obama, the Guinness glass he drank from on his visit and a replica of the glass bowl used to present Shamrock to the White House on St Patrick's Day.
Some interesting info boards on Obama and other U.S. Predidents with Irish heritage like JFK and Ronald Reagan.
It's small but worth a look.

Fast food joint

I was hesitating between stopping here or stopping in Adare on the way from Tralee to Dublin for lunch and toilet break, wish I had stopped in Adare. Absolutely awful. Smell of grease pervaded the air, huge line ups for everything due to slow service. To be avoided. I peeked into the Barak Obama Visitor centre, lots of information panels on Obama, looked interesting, too bad about the smell of fast food.
