Walk
Mar 2019 • Family
The Nahal, is absolutely beautiful. It is a walk to remember. There is a waterful, running stream, and a wonderful wooden walkway, which is wheelchair easy.

Love this place. Pretty. Good for everyone. Nice walks and fun to cycle along.
Relaxing to sit on the benches by the water.

great place for easy walk with children and with disable people - not more than 2 hours

nice small and shady
tracks are quite short and mostly shady. in rush hours (mostly on weekends) it is recommended to start early for reasons of lack of parking places.

Pleasant walk along the stream
Feb 2018 • Couples
We started walking along the stream in Kibbutz Hazorea. The walk is through a forest surronded by hills. The walk is very easy and a path has been made to give easy access for the handicapped. We saw poppies and cyclamens. A pleasant walk, facilities for picnics but there are definitely more beautiful walks in the Northern area.

This is a beautiful gem in the nature. You got water but not for swimming and you can go even with baby stroller
We spent the whole day with the kids and had bbq and it was fun.

Cool down in the beautiful and shaded Nahal Hashofet
Aug 2017 • Family
A great place to stop and hike in the shade and then jump into a freezing natural pool. It can be reached at the back of Yokneam(yishuv). SO very accessible via routes 6 and 70 from the South. Plenty of parking along side of leading road and there is parking for buses and cars up to say 10 cars...with picnic tables in the shaded woods. No toilet facilities spotted although there was an ices van moving up and down..refreshing the tourists.

A great waterfall and some great hikes!
Mar 2017 • Couples
I have visited this stream, waterfall and forest 6 times over the last 5 years AND I NEVER GET TIRED OF BEING HERE! In the winter months the flow of water is very strong and very impressive. Although the waterfall is only 5 meters high, it is the closest real live waterfall to the center and south of Israel. Additionally, the area has plenty of hiking possibilities. Be sure to park your car in the upper parking lot. All hikes begin from there. The main hike is the actual 2-kilometer hike (wheelchair and stroller accessible) past the main waterfall down to the lower and smaller waterfall (1 meter) and back. I recommend not to come all the way back, but do the loop route and veer off to the right at the old flour mill (worth climbing on). Continue away from the waterfall, cross the main dirt road, and go see the beautiful Shofet mountain-fed spring. Continue on the board pathway until you come back to the upper parking lot. There also is a wonderful 4 kilometer hike (“blue” and ”red” trails) which starts and ends in the upper parking lot and encircles and passes over the top of the adjacent Shofet Mountain which provided us with some very pretty views of the immediate surroundings, including grazing sheep. And finally, there is the Ramat HaShofet Trail (white-orange-white markers) which passes alongside the waterfall and eventually (35 kilometers away) hooks up with the Israel Trail.

Great outing
Apr 2017 • Family
Had a lovely time here paddling with our 7 year old kids.
However - it was so busy (chol hamoed pesach) so got no where near the proper car park & so it took about 35 minutes to get to the actual river - lovely views though ! You then have to come back the way you came to get back to the car. Was lovely !
