Liked the old house!

The house is very nice and well kept, with many historical artifacts. The tour was interesting, including the video part, with many facts about the LeDuc family.

I've been here several times. I bring visitors for the guided tour of the mansion. There are many year-round events that are inside or on the grounds. Summer concerts, formal teas, etc.

The grounds are small and contained, which worked great for me or anyone with bad knees. Peonies were just beginning to bloom and some roses as well. The tour hostess was very knowledgeable and willing to offer loads of extra info to those who asked. Sounds like a popular place to hold events- weddings, birthdays, special dinners, etc. Well worth... More

Well maintained historical structure with tours in the heart of downtown Hastings. The grounds are relatively small for an estate, but worth a pitstop.

If you had driven by Leduc in the 1990s, you would have seen an overgrown, derelict and forlorn house, abandoned and forgotten. Not so today thanks to the city of Hastings, and MN and Dakota County Historical Societies. An incredible renovation of the gothic revival 1860s home and grounds along with excellent tour guides delivers a fascinating and engaging visit... More

We are members of the Dakota Historical Society and have been tot he Leduc Historic Estate many times. They have many special events which include apple festivals, rhubarb festivals, concerts, evening scotch tasting, and high teas. We take our out of town guests for tours. Be sure to visit their website for hours of their tours so you won't have... More

Unfortunately, the day we went to the Estate, the facility was closed due to a private event being held there. However, the person in charge allowed us to walk around the property. The signage on the property explained what each item on site was. My advice to anyone coming to the facility would be to check to be see if... More

We just happened to be in town on 9/13/15 and got to observe the special activities. Very informative and realistic. The mansion was ok, very little that was original to the family. Our tour guide was great, however. This made the visit more enjoyable.
