We stopped by here on our way thru town and were super impressed! The falls were beautiful, though I wish there was a spot to get a "head on" view. We also really enjoyed walking over the tall bridge with the padlocks of love, and...More

Nice walking and bicycle trails. Has a small parking lot and is close to Nichols Inn. Has an underpass to go from one side of Vermilion Street to the other.

The falls are beautiful as evidenced by the pictures and are just a short walk from the parking lot. This time we also walked on the paved walking path a bit and found a foot bridge maybe a 1/4 mile away that provided some beautiful...More

Most people drive on by not knowing the falls exist. The old mill next to it reminds me of the old Frankenstein horror movies, I can see Igor peeking out a window!

Love coming back here, makes you feel like you're up north by the north shores. A hidden gem, definitely a must see.

The day was beautiful and the walk was easy. We even did a few of the narrower trails in the woods. The bridge with the locks was neat. Fun had by the whole family.

This is a very accessible, pretty park. Make sure you go down to the old flour mill ruins, but please, please, don't leave your 'mark'. This is a historic place, and we'd like to keep it clean and graffiti-free. Thank you and enjoy!

We had problems finding this park based on the directions, but eventually found it with GPS. Once there, we pulled in to the far end of the parking lot so we never saw the park map which was at the beginning of the parking lot....More

The falls next to the mill is not majestic like along Minnesota's Northshore, but it is still powerful, fast running, and beautiful in its own right. There is bike path that runs along it following the Vermillion River. It is a very scenic area and...More

Hi there, I would strongly recommend the Bierrstube (German fare - very good bratwurst & wienerschnitzel, German potato salad, red kraut) located at Hwy 61 and Hwy 55, or the Busted Nut (great burgers, awesome onion rings... More

It used to be owned by ConAgra. I don't know if it still is but up until recently it was owned by them. I know it is still in use.
