As the saying goes, it is what it is! It's a smaller zoo. I enjoyed it and felt it was just the right size to walk around on a warm summer day. It's worth the money and the animals and exibits change from time to time so you can visit again after a few years and see new things. The... More

Worst zoo I've been too. If you like goose poop and crows it's perfect for you! Most of the exhibits had been closed. Reptile exhibit smelled of feces and we had to run out.

We went on a cold day, so many of the animals were not out. The Asian Caravan spot at the zoo had nothing, but yet there was no sign saying not to walk all the way there to see nothing. My kids liked the lion, tiger, and monkeys.

I remember coming here as a child when I lived in Duluth and was in love with it. It isn't what I remember, but it is still beautiful and nicely updated. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I still love coming tod the zoo.

A lovely natural setting. It's smaller than some Zoo's but the emphasis on animal education, species survival, & conservation make it very worthwhile. I loved the exhibit signs in Ojibwe, & the newer pollinator gardens with native plants

My family absolutely loves visiting the Lake Superior Zoo! Whether it's a class fieldtrip for my little girls or a family picnic on a hot summer day - we always enjoy the beautiful scenery and of course - the animals! But what makes it the most enjoyable? The staff! Their dedication to the animals is genuine and it shows!
