We visited the Arboretum with some neighbors, on a beautiful fall Sunday. We took the 3 mile drive first and made stops along the way. They have a rose garden, sculpture garden, shrub path, ornamental grasses, and one of the best hedge mazes ever. We...More

We walked a 3 mile loop and this park is so impressive. Sculptures sprinkled about. Interesting to learn and see how they develop new species- flowers, trees and hedges. In the winter you can cross country ski the park. You can also drive around the...More

There is always a coupon on Groupon or in the paper or on receipts from Cub or Rainbow. Look for one, for a discounted entry or cheaper excursion for multiple people. It is worth the walk. And on a nice day, you can walk for...More

It's at least 25 miles away, but every time we go we think we need to go more often. Many displays of flowers, plants and trees. Some are walking distance from the main building and others require a drive through the park. Admission can be...More

This place is constantly changing, and not just because of the weather. Featured Art displays, garden ideas and tutoring, etc make this visit a full day treat. The trails will keep you moving...and moving...and moving. There is only ONE problem...there is only one way in/out...More

We go here about 2 times a year. Its a wonderful way to spend 1/2 day. So much to see and do. Drive the scenic 3 mile drive and stop along the way to see individual areas. Wonderful for people of all ages.

There are miles of trails and most are lit up from what I remember. One can also drive through. Due to the super cold temps, driving might be better. Happy Holidays!

There is a 3 mile loop but we took it on a tram ride. A lot of the displays are very close to the main building which wouldn't be much of a walk.
