Went on free 3rd Monday evening. Since under 16 were free it would have been worth the $15 per adult free. Need more than 1 or 2 visits to see everything. Fantastic layout over 3 mile drive. Plenty of walking to see all the plants,...More

I went over mothers day weekend and yes it was pretty packed! But even so only a short wait in traffic to get in. Once you get away from the entrance area its much less crowded. I spend a couple of hours and didn't see...More

Just to be clear, there is a fair amount of parking by the main buildings but not so much on the three mile trail. There is a trolly that follows the three mile trail on certain days so check out the schedule if you don't...More

Walk the paths from one flowering delight to the next, learn about the plants and the climates they thrive best in. Stop and inhale the intoxicatingly delicious scents all around.

The Arb has a spectacular display of tulips every year. This year they "peaked" about two weeks ago. Lots of colors, lots of varieties. Almost 40,000 in total! Irises and Azaleas are coming out now. There are always some kind of flowers blooming all summer...More

Wonderful way to spend a day. Drive the 3 mile drive then stop and do a beautiful walk. Tulips, lilacs everywhere. The fall is also a wonderful time of year to take a walk through the gardens.

There are miles of trails and most are lit up from what I remember. One can also drive through. Due to the super cold temps, driving might be better. Happy Holidays!

There is a 3 mile loop but we took it on a tram ride. A lot of the displays are very close to the main building which wouldn't be much of a walk.

It's a drive around with places to park and walk around.
