Such a great trail from Cannon Falls to Redwing (and beyond?) I don't know. In any case, very well maintained! Plenty of room for walkers + bikers with views of the Cannon River. :)

Hubby and I rode from the Cannon Falls Trail Head Downtown to Downtown Welch and back yesterday Oct 23. About 20 miles total. It was a pleasant easy ride eastward to Welch (downhill). The trail was in good shape with minimal litter and few walnuts....More

I’ve done this trail three times in the last three months. It is very well maintained and the $4 charge is well worth it. You see deer, bald eagles, wild turkeys, and all sorts of flora and fauna. The scenery is amazing; really pretty views...More

Spent a pleasant day riding the trails. What a joyful place to ride. We rode half of the trail towards Red Wing today but have ridden the entire Trail earlier in the year great scenery and great places to stop and look at the river.

We rode the trail from Red Wing to Cannon Falls and back again this afternoon. It was such a pleasure, not the least of which was knowing we could get water at several spots along the way (as well as leave water behind, if you...More

No steep sections. Great for families and others as well. If 40 miles round trip is a bit much, then go halfway to Welch and back. Lots of rest stations and views of the Canon River. $4 daily wheel pass is required but worth every...More

I think it is pre-paid trail..So they want to keep pets away.. Also it is wild area...For the safety reason, they may keep the pets away..I had seen coyote there.

There is no shuttle service typically during the week. If you take 2 cars, you can park one at the end and load the bikes up once you are done. That would likely be the easiest.
