What weighs 8,000 pounds, is 55 feet tall and wears a size 78 shoe? The largest statue of the Jolly Green Giant, that's what.

We stopped here on our way west. The park is a few miles from the freeway. Great 15-20 minute stop. It was pretty busy when we were there. They have a cute gift shop and I bought a Blue Earth hat pin.

Had no clue this was here. Went to get a late bite to eat at Subway and low and behold there was a green glow. Once closer we discovered the Green Giant, very cool sight indeed!

This site is so funny! It is so worth coming to see the Green Giant. We enjoyed walking around and taken lots of pictures. We didn't have kids with us but the few children that were there were running around having fun.

Pleasant park with the Jolly Green Giant, not far from the highway. There is a small gift shop. The park and facilities are in good condition.
