Beautiful place to go visit, beautifully arranged fossils and crystals to see. You could spend a good hour in there to take up all the information, £5 each to go in which I think is a good price 👍. Lots Amazing things to see, they also have a gift shop at the end where you can buy other fossils and... More

We visited Treasures of the Earth as part of an organised trip on a Shearings holiday. We were welcomed warmly on the coach and given an explanation about what we would see inside. All I can say is that we didn't have enough time to see everything and it was a fantastic exhibition. There was something for everyone and I... More

The outside gives one the appearance of possibly being just a touristy place to visit. However, this is one of the most fascinating gem museums I've ever visited. It is very well laid out inside, with well lit displays and information placards. The adjoining shop has a huge variety of gifts. The owners were very nice and took time to... More

An interesting place to visit on a wet day. All under cover, with a display of crystal and gems. These are set in a cave like display. Dark and mysterious. There is a very good shop with bargain buys. Huge selection of gifts and even a free gift if you spend over a certain amount. Car park available.

There were some amazing gems and crystals in this small museum, everything was really well laid out and there was plenty of information on all of the exhibits.

This is an excellent way to spend a rainy morning - the museum houses a very impressive private collection of minerals & gemstones from all over the world, all presented with information along with some interesting local samples and history. The shop is lovely, too, and the people who run/man the place are so friendly and interested. Very pleasant visit,... More

This is a super way to spend an hour or so , including the shop, if you are in the Fort William area. I found out so many things I didn't know about geology and, literally . the beautiful treasures of our earth. There is a lovely prehistoric scene which will charm children and plenty of interesting fossils as well... More
