One way East to West

Tons of variety. Brewery's, shopping, Grest restaurants, theater, and more. Parking on the street is limited but there are several lots on the backside and even public ramps.

My husband travels to Traverse City on business quite often. When I ride along, I always make sure to spend some time on Front Street. From a beautifully-restored old town movie theater, a great bookstore, unique restaurants, to many cute shops, there is something for everyone! A must-see indeed!

The theater on Front Street is so quaint and wonderful. We went the week before Christmas and it was such a sweet experience. Before and after the movie, you can shop in an array of nice stores.

This 100 year old theatre has been restored and shows more independent, vintage and family movies. They have many special, low cost and even free events. Lower cost concessions. This, along with the Bijou, are non-profit and mostly worked by volunteers.

Just come downtown, park in the deck and start walking... So many Restaurant choices, Window Shopping opportunities and "See a Show" ! The streets are all lit up at night during the Winter and the Snow is falling down. The atmosphere is just home town - downtown.

My wife and I took a trip to Traverse City with a suggestion from our daughter who had vacationed there. We stayed in a cozy hotel on the waterfront. There is a great walking path along the waterfront that has some wonderful views. The downtown area is vibrant and full of good shopping, restaurants, and pubs. Everything in that area... More

We come here a few times a year to do shopping on Front Street. This past weekend we went to see the tree lighting with Santa. That was alot of fun for the kids. After we hit some of the shops. We always come back!

Attractive, interesting place to spend browsing, shopping, eating and to see a show. The star attraction is the renovated historic State theater, centerpiece of the Traverse City Film Festival. It is surrounded by classic and trendy shops for kids and adults. There are many good quick eats and restarants along the stretch. Many shops put water dishes out and give... More
