Never been to a place quite like it. A great place to go if you like scenic environments and plants. The rock-work and caves were fun to explore....you can totally forget you're in Wales and not a tropical temple. There's tonnes of space to park.

Dropped in here on the home from Bristol area just before Halloween and very glad we did just wish we had found this place while the kids were young. Will definitely come back in the summer.

I visited the gardens with 2 adults and 3 children aged 3, 6 and 8. We all thoroughly enjoyed the Halloween trail, grottoes and gardens and although we didn't purchase food the cafe did look lovely and inviting. It's well worth a visit during Halloween especially as a lot of effort has gone into dressing the grottoes in the keeping... More

We visited on a Sunday morning and we were practically the only ones there. Would definitely recommend as a beautiful garden to visit as well as fun and interesting history. The grottos were fab...they had really gone to amazing effort to do Halloween decorations, the staff were friendly and made it a personal experience. 5 stars! Allow about 1 1/2... More

Had never heard of this place and stumbled across a photo on social media. Visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were a few other people around but was surprised at how quiet it was. The grottoes are very unique and the gardens lovely also. Would definitely recommend!

We visited this amazing garden on a Saturday afternoon and we had it all to ourselves, which made it even more magical. The underground grottoes and tunnels seemed to go on forever, which were filled with ponds, fish and water features. The rest of the gardens are just as beautiful, with lily ponds and a wisteria bridge. £7 entrance fee... More

What a magical day! I visited with my sister and her boyfriend on Saturday and was absolutely blown away by what we found. We had discovered the gardens on Trip Advisor, and even though we lived locally we hadn't heard about it before then and were dying to visit. We couldn't have been more surprised! Warm welcome and clean toilets... More

We watched the video in the cafe, first, and then on to the garden and grottos and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Then on to the main gardens for more surprises in every turn. Fantastic place!

Our second visit to these stunning and peaceful gardens and the grottoes are great fun. Have already planned third visit before they close late October. Lovely cakes and simple lunch menu.
