We got there just before closing Memorial Day weekend. The volunteers were getting ready to leave, but we were able to inspect the inside and look at the furnished rooms. They have placed a lot of history inside for the visitors to look at and...More

Stayed at Lighthouse County Park campground which is adjacent to Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse. It's free to tour the lighthouse. This is a working lighthouse that has a long, tragic history.

This lighthouse is well maintained and furnished with many period pieces of furniture and artifacts. The grounds are large and provide a spectacular view of the lake. There is a small gift shop and the staff was very friendly. Worth a stop!

Lighthouse was closed but we were able to walk all around it and get pictures. No fee to enter park and not hard to find.
