We stayed for 3 nights in summer of 2016. Campground is very busy at this time of year. All campsites are within walking distance to the beach area, so you don't have to be on on the few lakeside sites to enjoy the sunset or the beach. 3 nights wasn't quite enough...next time we'd need to stay longer. Beautiful!

The park is so wooded it was hard to find a spot to get our camper into, the staff was good about finding us a lot that we could get it in, they need to do some cleaning up and take some of the trees out. The lots are small and not much room to park.

We don't camp, but we visit this park for the gorgeous beach, complete with dunes and very deep water in the swimming area.

Port Crescent was a lumber town in the 1860's it sported a lumber mill, grist mill and brewery. There was a dam on the river near the shore. You can still see some of the ruins along the river. Today its gone back to nature and is an official site for the Dark Sky's Project.

This was our first camping trip in this area. The campsite is lovely. The spaces are quite big. The toilets/shower block is very modern and clean. The staff at the entrance were extremely helpful. We wanted to take the dog to the dog beach and had no clue how to find it. The man at the gate was very helpful.... More

We absolutely loved our stay. The facilities were clean. We didn't have any issue with noise other than some traffic from the main two lane road.

Our family visits the Port Crescent Day Use Park often for many purposes. The trails are fun to walk and explore and fun to ski in the winter. There is also a boat launch that is perfect for canoes and kayaks and the Pinnebog River is beautiful to paddle along. The pavilion just off the beach is great for family... More
