The runs are nice and challenging. It is a great place to ski in central Michigan. Keep in mind that the runs aren't as long as the ones in Colorado but it's a great place for beginners! They have some great bunny hills and easy blues.

This place is a good option for people in Southern MI, Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. It's only 2 hours drive from Ann Arbor, and there are plenty of hotels in the area. It's a good place for beginners. They offer ski and snowboard lessons for kids and adults, and most of their slopes are green and blue. They do have... More

Our family spent the day at Bittersweet. We rented equipment and paid for the hour group lessons. My teen boys chose to snow board and my husband & I skied. The instructors were timely and very helpful. They took time with each individual to help them with the basics. The only thing they could've told my boys how to navigate... More

Bittersweet does a nice job keeping the snow when temperatures are cold enough. Their employees are typically friendly. I would love to see the employees not smoke when outside

My family and I visited Bittersweet for a ski trip in February 2016. We had been there before and decided it was worth the return trip! The check in process is very smooth and easy to navigate through. The staff are very friendly and informative, making the check in pleasant. Lift ticket and rental prices are reasonable for a day... We had a blast! I did not want to go and wouldn't have had my daughter not put it on our calendar two months previously. Boy was I glad we went. Lots of great runs with skill levels from bunny to black diamond. Plenty of lifts. The snow was fresh and plentiful. We spent six hours and wish we could... More

We spent a whole Saturday skiing here! The view up the mountain is beautiful, and the routes throughout the resort are so fun! There was a man working the beginning of the ski lift and he would make us laugh every time! Staff was friendly, and the resort was taken care of. Loved it!

We go to Bittersweet several times a year, and we really do enjoy this place. Its a great place for a fun family day, that is very easy and fairly priced. The vast majority of staff are extremely helpful and truly committed to customer satisfaction. This is a well appointed recreational site that we will continue to visit. I am... More

If you live in the flat Mid-West around southern Michigan, Illinois, Indiana.. and you want some enjoyable skiing you will probably like this. Easy to navigate, nice restaurant / bar and decent skiing.
