This is a nice resort for beginner to advanced intermediate skiers. Advanced skiers might not be challenged enough, but you would need to go west for that. There is a nice variety of runs. The lift lines are manageable. Friendly staff. All in all, it...More

We enjoyed our day skiing at Bittersweet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The ski area is smaller than we expected and lift lines were very long. Some lifts were very old and broke down a few times. Probably won’t go back, but it was...More

Bittersweet is a popular small town ski hill. There are plenty of lifts so most days you just have a short wait in line. Nice restaurant/bar looking out at the hill. I brought my 4 year old grandson out for his first skiing experience. His...More

Bittersweet is great for all ski levels. They have nice greens for beginners. They have a terrain park for the adventurer. The blues are fun. It’s got a tow rope for extreme beginners.

I would say the snow making crew had done an outstanding job of managing the snow with the season we had this year. Keep up the good work.

For Michigan it is okay, but overall not great. Overpriced and not great deals. The jumps in terrain parks were not sized or spaced properly. I understand it was a bad winter for skiing but quality did not hold up.

The runs are nice and challenging. It is a great place to ski in central Michigan. Keep in mind that the runs aren't as long as the ones in Colorado but it's a great place for beginners! They have some great bunny hills and easy...More

Yes, outside food is allowed. There is a "picnic" section upstairs in the lodge for those who wish to bring their own food. I don't know if there are electrical outlets where you could plug in a crockpot though.
