We stopped at a couple of the "scenic outlooks" along the way, these were very nice although the steps are getting old. Iargo Springs and Lumberjack Monument are well worth stopping in.

A must see if you have some extra time. We only had time to spend a few minutes as a storm rolled through when we arrived. We'll be back for more beauty when Mother Nature cooperates

It's been a while for us, but still a nice drive. To fully enjoy, you need to turn out and visit the access points and turnouts. Get out of the car and explore. Some sneak up quickly and others aren't marked well, but if you...More

One of those relaxing drives that actually makes driving a pleasure. Roll down the windows and cruise! The two must-sees along the way are Iargo Springs and Lumberman's Monument (see my other reviews), but the Canoer's Memorial is nice, too...even if the view isn't quite...More

My expectation was that we would get more river views along the road, but there are only a handful of good scenic overlooks. If you make a trip out of it and stay at one of the campsites, you probably get to enjoy much more...More
