We arrived at the entrance to Bond Falls on a beautiful Sunday the first weekend in November to find the gate shut and locked. We had visions of WallyWorld! However, we drove just a short way past the gate to a parking area and found a marked path to the falls. The path runs parallel to the water with great... More

The main falls are just a short walk (boardwalk, wheel-chair accessible) from the parking lot. Other trails to explore that are worth the effort. Lots of water, even in September.

Friends that we were going with, had been there before and knew the trick to not paying the outrageous fees... Find a spot by the road beyond the entrance to the park and hike from there. The hike itself is short, a plucky 2-year old did it along with two 4-year olds, but does involve some steep steps and uneven... More

We have been here several times, as a young couple camping, with our kids camping, now as empty nesters. Beautiful anytime of year. Nice walk, gorgeous views. can't wait to bring grandkids! Spend a week, weekend or just a couple hours.

The walking path is easy and the falls are pretty. There is parking and a little gift/ice cream shop. It's also a fairly short stop so a good way to put a little break into a longer trip past it.

This was the first waterfall I've ever seen, and it was a good day trip for my family when I was young. Bring your hiking shoes and food to eat, It's a good trip to make. I really visited in like 2006-ish i think.

This falls used to be accessed by a somewhat precarious hike on cement steps and worn trails. Now easily accessible to all by a side access point. BEAUTIFUL FALLS!! Nice overlooks and easy walking.

The falls are a short walk from the parking lot. The water going over them depends on the release from the nearby hydro project. This small scenic area is expensive for out-of-state residents. You get a day pass for $9. A Michigan resident gets a yearly pass to all state parks for $11. So tourists get soaked (and not by... More
