One of the most enjoyable modern art galleries I have been to. Fantastic collection of Nicaraguan, central American and some European art impeccably presented in a series of heritage buildings set around courtyards.

It seems a bit like damning with faint praise to say that this is one of the most impressive museums we have been to (if not the best one) in Central America. We went prepared to be disappointed because so often a "museum" in an...More

An amazing collection of paintings from around the world and spans over too large sites with cooling rooms and courtyards with fountains. Well worth a visit to get out of the heat of the day and inject some culture into your trip. Plus the turtles...More

The art collection is located in two different locations across the street from each other. One building is relatively small, but the other one is very large and goes on and on... The collection is eclectic - ranging from modern and installation art to some...More

This used to be the private collection of an affluent family in León. They had so much art they opened it up to the public and also provide classes to students. They feature local artists and world renowned as well. There are 8 lithographs of...More

I think there may be 1 or 2 steps to come into the building..but I don't remember exactly. Otherwise the halls are pretty flat and there shouldn't be any steps inside. Only ground floor. There are guards everywhere (every... More
