I'm not usually someone who likes visiting too many buildings/churches but actually did enjoy this one! Last ticket sales are at 4.30pm for the rooftop and they kick you out at 5....perfect timing for a bit of sunset action, so beautiful

We followed a beautiful procession into the Cathedral and marvelled at the size and stark white internal design. I really like how the church is open through all hours of the day and night offering a quiet refuge from those guys who sell sunglasses all...More

This is a beautiful church. Having visited Notre dame in france along with several other european style churches this one holds its own. They allow you to gain access to their roof for a small fee where you get an awesome view of the city...More

What a cool place to go. Bit awkward finding the hobbit door to buy the ticket but got there in the end. Amazing. Loved it. Gets hot up there and you have to remove your shoes but socks are ok.

Cool moorish roof top, bonus is that you can see most of the other churches from here. Entrance fee is well worth it, and to be honest Leon doesn't have a lot else in the city limits besides church viewing. Inside is as impressive as...More

A hub of Catholicism for the surrounding area, the Cathedral is a "must-see" place of worship and culture. While simple in decoration, the inside is still beautiful and worth some time spent in prayer or reflection. No matter what, spend the $3 to go on...More

This site should be #1 for Leon as it is a cultural cornerstone of the city. The cathedral has been restaured for the front part, the interior is in excellent condition too. The roof is splendid, both for its architecture and the views it offers....More

You have to take of your shoes so as not to make marks on the white roof or damage the ballustrades.
