Definitely what I enjoyed the most whilst at Leon. Most definitely volcano board and views are pretty stunning. Hike is pretty easy for 27 year old with average fitness.

The walk to the top and around the crater was great. Just seeing the inside of an active volcano was amazing. The sand boarding down was fun but gets you very dirty!

It was a nice, comfortable short trek to the top and then a great ride down. The tour company provided all the accessories that we needed to do the slide down the volcano. Took me a bit to figure out how to manage the board...More

Climb up the volcano, doesn't take too long, enjoy the sights and listen to a tour guide, slide down on a board and feel the rush. Worth it

They must have been going the wrong way. The hike is moderate, the guides take breaks every 15 minutes or so and tell you a little about the surrounding area so that people can catch their breath. It is windy up there and... More

It is a well used trail very safe but some loose rocks. The guides are excellent, stopping frequently to allow everyone to go at a reasonable pace. When you initially get to the top the area that you slide on looks... More

There's a 45 minute hike up the mountain. It's windy and a little slippery at times. If you can handle it then it should be no problem.
