This is more than just a motorbike rental place. This is more than just a mountain bike place. On Wednesday and Saturday mornings the guys in the shop meet at 530am and head out for a mountain bike ride around Leon. Off-road. I went twice during my stay in Leon. I had a great time. The bikes are very good quality and the riding is excellent. My view is Ruedas Leon should commercialize these rides and get more people out on them. I would 100% recommend heading out in a ride. In the meantime, if you’re in Leon and you like to ride. Pop in and ask them about their 530am rides. Head out with them and enjoy it. It’s the best value!!! …

Rented a motorcycle from Ruedas Leon for a five day trip from Leon to Estelí, Matagalpa, Jinotega and back to Leon. I rented a 200cc Suzuki, and it was in great condition with no visible cosmetic or mechanical issues. The bike worked flawlessly for my entire trip and it was a great way to experience northern Nicaragua and might be the highlight of my trip. I highly recommend renting from Ruedas. …

A friend and I rented 2 Suzuki 200CC motorbikes from Ruedas Leon over the last 2 weeks. I am writing because the end-to-en experience was first class. From my initial communication with the owner David (who speaks perfect English) working through my needs, I gained confidence I was dealing with a professional outfit with high-quality bikes. I paid my deposit via PayPal, and balance when we met in person to collect the bikes. The bikes has racks for us to strap on our backpacks. David is very professional and genuine man who was keen to ensure we had a great time. Their office is in the heart of Leon adjacent to many hostels. Other than a small mishap en-route with an oil cap, we had the perfect 2-week ride around Nicaragua (Leon-Estela-Jinotega-Matagalpa-Granada-Ometepe-SJDS-Popoyo-Las Penitas-Leon). I would highly recommend this company to others considering a motorbike trip around the country.…

My girlfriend and I rented a Yamaha dirt bike from David when he was first opening his shop in the summer of 2015. I'm planning to go back to Leon soon and was reminded of the fantastic experience we had renting from Ruedas. Equipment was well-maintained (and brand new at the time), prices were very reasonable and David was a joy to talk with. He is about as genuine of a person you will meet and I would 100% recommend his shop. I've rented bikes from many places (e.g., SE Asia) but this was by far the best. We rented a scooter to go Las Penitas to enjoy the beach. Very friendly lady got us through the necessary paperwork and soon we were off on a perfect white scooter enjoying this form of transport a lot! Nice and good company!
