Amazing smoking volcano which can be seen from just about anywhere. My favorite view was from the Ruins of Old Leon where you have a full view with Lake Managua in front. It was a clear day so great photos.

while we never seen it making much for smoke and no light show at night, the momotombo volcano is great for photos and is the perfect stereotypical expectation of a volcano.

If you go to Leon Viejo, get your driver to make a stop at the lake to get a good view of the volcano. It's really cool at that angle.
