Pretty in all seasons!

We have done this easy little hike in both summer and winter, and enjoyed it every time. Worth it. We had no trouble on the walkway even in deep snow and the views were great!

Beautiful Hike to the falls. You can stand at the bottom and get sprayed by the water on a hot summer day.

It is a short walk to the falls, the walk is along wonderfully groomed trails. There is a viewing platform near the falls that gives a nice view of the falls and if the wind is right you might get a bit of spray from the fall. Wonderful place to see.

It is a very easy walk to these falls from the parking lot. The falls are smaller than I expected but still pretty. If you drive a little further down the road from the parking lot (maybe 2 miles), you'll come upon Sand Point Beach. That's a nice little stop too.

O.K. Get ready to walk! It is one kilometer in to see the falls. A few spots view Lake Superior. Otherwise ..all woods.

We walked down to see these falls while on a fall color tour. The walk isn't that strenuous, take your time if you are concerned. The falls are pretty and we observed them from the deck.

This place is totally worth the walk into beautiful woods and groomed trails. As you get closer, the sounds of the falls starts to become prominent through the trees, and then, nature in its most private of moments, transitioning from subtle to crashing and back to a calm creek again.

Most people travel to Munising to take the boat trip on Lake Superior along the Pictured Rocks. To me, just as wonderful an experience are the journeys on the inland footpaths in the vicinity to inland waterfalls, in our case Miners Falls, Wagner Falls and Munising Falls. We were lucky that it had rained just before our arrival which greatly... More
