We had a good visit to the palace. Most of the time was spent in the harem area. Visiting where the Khan had his private chamber and the courtyard and small rooms where the ladies of the harem lived was very interesting.

The harem, the receptions hall and the judgement hall are three parts of the palace tash khovli. The labyrynth style construction of the palace and the colors of its Harem guaranty a wonderful visit. Recommended.

Large old Palace, complete with harem. Ornate ancient Muslim architecture. One of the best (must see) historical buildings to visit whilst in the old city of Khiva.
