Nobody should visit Bhaktapur and not visit this temple. It must be one of the most photographed in all of Nepal. The sculptures are huge and most impressive. A climb to the top of the stairs is worth while but it's a difficult descent due to the big steps. Don't worry it's still amazing from below.

Immense temple with massive statues, One can climb to the top for the good views. It is fairly steep so caution advised coming down.

Londoner: 'Yes' you can climb to the very top of this Temple and 'Yes' you get some fantastic photo opportunities and absolutely 'Yes' one can see the entire site with all the Temples and ancient buildings are stretched out below you like a tapestry. But be very careful as you begin your dissent for you are likely to get vertigo... More

Tachupal Tole is flanked by a series of ornate brick-and-timber buildings that were originally used as math (Hindu priests’ houses). The best known is the Pujari Math, which now serves as the Woodcarving Museum. The building took some damage in the 2015 earthquake, but the its most famous feature – the superb 15th-century Peacock Window , widely regarded as the... More

Bhaktapur is really beautiful and so interesting to stroll around. Pujari Math is the crown jewel. This is an inspiring, beautiful building showcasing architecture very particular to the Kathmandu Valley. Seems to have survived the earthquake.

Still amazing!!! after the earthquake. Almost no turists, the opposite of Katmandu. Cheaper than Katmandu or Patan. You feel every $ spent here helps.
