Extremely clear waters!

Come here with the bike and enjoy the nice view. There will be always people around as the island is rather small, but it is worth a visit.

If you can walk along from the other side of the beach along the shore, not to many people around at the time of our visit, for some stunning ocean views with the wonderful turquoise waters, you can see fish all along the side of the pier due to the very clear water. Some perfect photo opportunities.

worth coming here at Sunset-very scenic for a photo. Blue clear waters and white sand. Easy to get to on the island if you hire a cycle.

What a beautiful place to see the ocean, Kondoi beach and Iriomote island. It is a must see in Taketomi. It is better to rent a bike to be able to get there faster, especially in a hot day.

We stopped here to check out the view and about an hour later we were still there, before you know it all the little critters are getting your attention, the many different types of crabs, slugs and the beautiful vivid blue fish-the type you'd see in a fish tank are all worth seeing. The colour of the ocean is remarkable... More

We stopped here while riding bikes in Taketomi. You have to stop and take a picture. The different colors of the water blew my mind. Stop and take a break and just experience the area.

(when the weather is nice). the color of the water is breath taking, and despite the tourists, its still a peaceful spot to just stare into the distance.

It is just a simple old pier but the view is spectacular. In Ishigaki or Taketomijima, it is not easy to come across a place where you can take a glance at the water from the "shore" level. This place gets you a few meters out on the water. No shops or restaurants in the vicinity which make the place... More

If you don't want to get wet, this is a nice walk into the ocean where you can see the pools of water and variety of sea cucumbers, shrimp, fish, crab, birds and eels from the pier, depending on the water level. I recommend you bring beach slip on shoes which you can slip on so you can walk through... More
