We stopped at every pull off spot along the route and you had to pay for entry, but it was all totally worth it.

We spent a few days in this area of the Panoramic Route on our way to the Kruger and what lovely area it is. We took our time and drove to some lovely spots with lots of things to see and some spectacular breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys, waterfalls and the canyon. If you are driving to or from... More

Driving the Panorama Route is one amazing activity that you can do while visiting the Kruger National Park. You can do this activity before heading out to the game park or after you have satisfied your game viewing and are headed back. The Panorama Route can be achieved in a day but this means yo have to start out early... More

After staying at Satara camp in Kruger, my wife and I took the scenic way back along the Panorama Route. The drive into the canyon is spectacular, with sheer cliffs jutting in every direction. The grey cliffs are dotted with reds and greens, making them quite a site. The rest of the drive into the valley is nice, but not... More

We started early on a Saturday and descended the Long Tom pass in heavy mist - couldnt see much but the lush pine forest on both sides of the road were surreal and then looking over the escarpment at Gods Window -awesome followed by the Bourkes luck Potholes on the confluence of thr Treur and Blyde river - really something... An excellent way to spend a couple of days, winding your way through gorgeous mountains and valleys! I needed an extra memory card for my camera I took so many photos.

I've been there for the first time 20 years ago, and went back. It's a great place, great views. Love Pilgrins rest, Gods window and all the water falls.

This route provides a variety of terrain and scenery. I'm afraid that I am somewhat hard to impress, however. We stopped to view the Three Sisters, which had beautiful colors, but it was quite a hazy day so it lost some of its impact. The most interesting stop was at Bourkes' Luck Potholes, which also gave us the opportunity to... More
