All I can say is please go there, very beautiful place. There are no words to describe this place. Make sure you have the energy to walk as most of this places you have to walk quite a distance from the parking lot.

We toured the Panorama Route with our daughter and grand daughter who were visiting from the US. It was a perfect day's sight seeing after being in the Kruger Park for a week. Incredibly beautiful views at the stop points and divine friendly people at...More

We were passing through Graskop and made the short drive (15-20 mins) to visit. The weather was clear and sunny so views were lovely. Lookouts were pleasant and after a morning of driving a nice way to stretch the legs. Entry fees were ~ZAR2-4 at...More

We did a round trip from Hazyview- Graskop-Blyde River- Sabie stopping at Gods Window (R15pp), Bourkes Luck Potholes (R55pp), Three Rondavels (R25pp). It’s a stunning drive worth a visit if weather permits. Be careful of potholes in places especially Lydenberg area.

The panorama route includes towns like Graskop, Sabie and Hazyview. Beautiful mountain passes with scenic viewpoints, waterfalls and lookout points such as Blyderivier Canyon, Pinnacle and Gods window. Dont go on a misty day.

The route to Graskop is magnificent , The waterfalls rainforest, and the mountainous terrain and the start of the canyons is all so breath-taking. The fresh air and the friendly people makes the route even more beautiful.

We gave an awesome country. We have visited this part about 3 years back and it is even more beautiful than before. The people at the different attractions are so friendly and it is just a big joy to take in the beauty.

This route has some great views. The main viewpoints are the Three Rondavels, Wonderland, God's Window, and Pinnacle Rock. The Three Rondavels is the best viewpoint (looks very similar to the Grand Canyon) closely followed by Pinnacle Rock. I was a bit disappointed in God's...More

The Mpumalanga government needs to take a serious look at the stage of repair and the cleanliness of its view sites along this route. It is now expensive to visit these sites and what are they doing with the revenue. Seriously needs ploughing back.

Hi Josh, Would recommend a night in Graskop. The scenic route Graskop to Bourke's Luck is worthwhile and a fine example of the South African escarpment. Probably need to check at Klaserie whether best to head for Graskop... More

Some good points from the previous responses. Graskop is a good base for your tour of the Panorama Route. Try not to cram all your visits into 1 day, spread them out and visit at leisure. You are on holiday, so enjoy. Set... More
